Behaviour Support Assistant Role
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment at our specialist school in Wokingham.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs or diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, or other challenging needs.
- Provide individualised support to students to help them thrive in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies that promote academic growth and improve student outcomes.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages all students to feel valued and included.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children who have complex behavioural challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Term-time only position, starting as soon as possible.
- Good travel links.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
