Job Summary:

Llamau Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with clients across the area, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with local agencies, such as the local authority, specialist charities, and housing providers, to promote our services and support clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
  • Work proactively to identify and address the needs of clients, providing solutions and resources to support them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve services.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage and build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Non-judgmental mindset and understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Forward-thinking and resilient attitude, with the ability to overcome barriers and setbacks.
  • Strong character, with the ability to remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
  • Experience in support work or housing, with an understanding of housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.
