Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Iris Care Group. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and specialist clinical input in our residential education service for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions, learning disabilities, and complex behavioral presentations.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support and direct practice leadership to the multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of high-quality services in educational and residential provisions.
- Take a lead role in coordinating the overall clinical provision across the site, varying according to individual need and commissioned requirements.
- Work closely with the team to assess and formulate interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Develop and implement positive behavioral support strategies to promote education and social inclusion.
- Collaborate with colleagues from clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, psychiatry, dietetics, education, and residential care to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- HCPC/NMC registration as a professional with post-qualification experience working in Autism and/or learning disability settings.
- Post-qualification training in positive behavioral support and substantial experience and knowledge of multi-disciplinary clinical intervention for people with an Autism Spectrum Condition.
- Competence in understanding and applying principles of the Mental Capacity Act as relevant to the setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in partnership with people receiving care.
