We are seeking a driven and client-focused professional to join Michael Page Sales as a Key Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and driving revenue growth.
About the Role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong market presence.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
- Leading a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Developing solutions that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Completing sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A full, clean driving license.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of circa £40,000 - £47,000 per annum, plus Car Allowance and OTE.
