Strategic Account Director Member Engagement

Job Summary:

MSL McKesson Strategic Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Account Managers to support McKesson across multiple markets, including retail, health systems, specialty, and medical surgical channels.
  • Work closely with the ClarusONE Member Engagement team to identify strategic priorities and develop aligned goals across all McKesson customer channels.
  • Develop change activities to support the delivery of Member and customer goals, ensuring that all strategic activities have a clear objective, success criteria, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with McKesson teams to analyze and recommend alternative approaches to improve solutions, agreeing next steps with stakeholder groups and identifying key resources to deliver agreed actions.
  • Align with internal stakeholders at ClarusONE to ensure they are informed on proposed changes, understand the why, and have clear expectations of roles and responsibilities.
  • Establish and engage in frequent strategic planning meetings to align buy-side and sell-side strategies, better meet Member evolving needs, and increase Member profitability.
  • Present initiatives to the ClarusONE leadership team and respective Members to ensure alignment on resources and prioritization of activities.
  • Partner with Analytics teams to analyze and evaluate the US pharmaceutical market, assessing changes in federal government orders or regulatory frameworks and impacts on generics, payers, and supply chain.
  • Provide support to the Leadership Team in evaluating and developing non-sourcing related initiatives that bring greater benefits to Members.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction/NPS ratings.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the US generic pharmaceutical market is desirable, with a preference for having worked in the market in a commercial role.
  • Pharmacy background is preferable but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree level.
  • Previous experience in strategy or change roles is preferable.
