Role Overview

We're seeking a Strategic Pricing Director to extend and improve our Tesco Media & Insight Platform. This opportunity allows you to work with a market-leading business, exploring new opportunities for growth and influencing global advertisers.

About the Role

As a Senior Pricing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitable growth for Tesco Media. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, undertaking analysis, developing pricing models, analysing market trends, and ensuring competitive market positioning.

The ideal candidate will maintain a streamlined framework for all pricing processes, leading pricing reviews, and managing day-to-day pricing queries from multiple stakeholder groups.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead all Pricing processes, reviews, and ratecard rollouts
  • Coordinate and deliver annual ratecard reviews, assessing multiple different scenarios and presenting risks and opportunities from the impact of any changes
  • Provide day-to-day pricing support and query handling from Sales, Propositions, and GTM teams
  • Work closely with Finance and Sales to align pricing strategy with financial goals and objectives
  • Undertake ad hoc analysis, competitive analysis, cost analysis, etc., to ensure our pricing strategy is optimised for business growth
  • Develop and maintain pricing policies and procedures
  • Leading and completing pricing analysis and modelling projects to deliver comprehensive pricing recommendations into the business
Requirements
  • Extensive pricing optimisation experience for a media owner or publisher, ideally across both digital and traditional channels
  • Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills, comfortable with advanced analysis, forecasting, and modelling
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, Criteo, or similar adserving technologies
  • Deep working knowledge of Ad networks/Ad exchanges/DSP/SSP/Publishers
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital or retail media advertising ecosystem
