Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Social Worker to lead the development of excellent practice within our Children's Services department. As Head of Excellence in Children's Care, you will play a key role in driving forward high-quality practice and ensuring outstanding outcomes for children and young people in Norfolk.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification management experience, including line management of teams. You will be responsible for leading the development of the practice vision and core principles, overseeing the design and delivery of the practice development offer.

You will work closely with teams across Children's Services to create an effective learning culture, fostering conditions for learning and practice development to thrive. As a registered Social Worker, you will provide professional leadership, guidance, and development for social work and social care professionals across the children's system.
