The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

  • Directing the operations of a residential children's care home focused on disability services
  • Leading and supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, guiding them from recruitment through ongoing growth and development
  • Supervising and upholding exemplary childcare practices
  • Ensuring staff deliver positive, sensitive care to the children & young people in the home
  • Effectively overseeing physical and financial resources as well as personnel
  • Guaranteeing the highest standards of service quality and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Childcare related Diploma at Level 3
  • Significant experience in a supervision/management role working with children with complex requirements in a residential establishment
  • Experience working with children who have experienced trauma & disrupted attachments
  • A full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements
