Senior Youth Support Professional

The Graduate Project is seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Youth Support Worker to join our team in making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, nonprofit organizations, and official bodies to foster a supportive network for young people.
- Develop and implement engaging programs that address the unique needs and challenges of young people, promoting their academic success, positive behavior, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality training sessions for volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide effective support to young people.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them to grow and develop in their roles.
- Ensure accurate documentation and evidence collection, submitting reports to managers as required.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working directly with young people, including mentoring, providing support, and facilitating educational programs.
- Level 3 qualification in youth work or equivalent.
- Personal experience with the challenges faced by the young people they support.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
