Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEMH teaching assistant to join our team at Academics. As a dedicated youth worker, you will be supporting vulnerable children in their school environment, helping them to achieve calm and regulated moods to access their learning and development.

You will assist the children with self-regulation activities and techniques, working closely with students who require additional support with their SEMH and personal needs. Awareness of safeguarding processes within the school is essential, and you must be prepared to implement them when necessary.

This full-time & permanent position is available on a long-term basis, offering a competitive salary range of £85-120 per day. You will work regular hours from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with the possibility of starting as soon as possible or in January, depending on your circumstances.
