Role Overview
">We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. This is a long-term opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children, supporting them to access their learning and development.
">About the Role
">You will be working with students who require additional support due to their SEMH needs, helping them to develop self-regulation skills and strategies to manage their emotions. Your role will involve assisting teachers and other education professionals in providing a safe and supportive environment for all students.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Supporting students with SEMH needs to access their learning and development.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other education professionals to provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Assisting students with self-regulation activities and techniques.
- Safeguarding processes within the school.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
">- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures.
Benefits
">This is a full-time permanent position available with a competitive daily rate of £85-120. The working hours are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, and we offer ASAP or January starts depending on your circumstances.
