About the Role

Academics is seeking a skilled SEMH teaching assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and develop essential life skills.

As a SEMH teaching assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, using evidence-based strategies to promote their emotional well-being and academic success. You will also be responsible for implementing safeguarding processes within the school, ensuring the safety and protection of all students.

This is a long-term career opportunity, with a competitive salary range of £85-120 per day and regular working hours from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. You will have the chance to start as soon as possible or in January, depending on your circumstances.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Support students with SEMH and personal needs
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to promote emotional well-being and academic success
  • Implement safeguarding processes within the school
  • Work collaboratively with students, teachers, and other professionals to promote learning and development

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £85-120 per day
