">We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a SEMH specialist, you will be responsible for supporting students with complex emotional and mental health needs, helping them to access their learning and development.
">About the Job
">As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students, teachers, and other education professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Your role will involve:
">- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs.
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
- Collaborating with teachers to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Monitoring student progress and reporting back to parents and carers.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
">- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures.
Salary and Benefits
">This is a full-time permanent position available with a competitive daily rate of £85-120. The working hours are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, and we offer ASAP or January starts depending on your circumstances.
