Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Therapy Area Lead to join our team in North West England & Wales. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical science and excellent leadership skills.

The Therapy Area Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the territory, contributing to clinical development and commercialization efforts, and serving as a scientific expert for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead national activities for a designated therapy area
  2. Maintain relationships with KOLs and other stakeholders
  3. Develop and implement medical strategies and plans
  4. Share insights within medical and cross-functional teams
  5. Deliver training to commercial field teams
  6. Participate in clinical research activities
  7. Provide coaching and support to the wider field medical group
  8. Ensure compliance with company SOPs and the ABPI Code
Requirements:
  • A relevant science-based degree
  • Several years of experience working in medical affairs
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining KOL relationships
  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in any therapy area, with a background in Oncology being highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the different UK healthcare systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum

Location: North West England & Wales
