We are seeking a skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist to contribute to our client's esteemed mental health hospital based in the Bury, Lancashire area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, delivering a comprehensive range of specialist mental health services for men and women as well as CAMHS.

Applicants must possess a current registration with the HCPC to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities of the Specialist Occupational Therapist include:

  • Evaluating and addressing occupational dysfunction in service users, in conjunction with an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Fostering collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary team to support service user progress through the clinical model of care from admission to discharge
  • Directly reporting to the Regional Lead Occupational Therapist

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • Significant experience in the field of mental health
  • A deep understanding of Occupational Therapy principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively
  • Superb communication and time management skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for supporting others

The selected Specialist Occupational Therapist will receive a salary of £36,808 - £38,845 per annum, working 40 hours a week in a permanent full-time capacity.
