Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Care Specialist to join our team at The Christie Hospital. As an Enhanced Clinical Review Practitioner, you will play a key role in coordinating and promoting continuity of care for radiotherapy patients.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Therapy Radiographer/Registered Nurse to become part of our radiotherapy clinical review team. You will work closely with our experienced clinicians to provide exceptional standards of care for patients undergoing or recently completed radiotherapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and promoting continuity of care for radiotherapy patients
  • Acting as a co-ordinator and providing care for acutely unwell patients requiring admission within scope of practice
  • Working as an independent non-medical prescriber once qualification has been achieved
Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Cancer Care and radiotherapy, with evidence of expertise in these areas. You should also have a willingness and ability to work towards Non Medical Prescribing qualification and clinical skills.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. You will also receive excellent benefits, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
