About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Nurse Manager to lead our team at Kings Norton service in Birmingham. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and providing effective leadership during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing staffing levels and skill mix on all wards
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues
- Maintaining high standards of care and adhering to ACG standards and policies
- Liaising with on-call managers, medics, and arranging admissions
- Leading referrals out of hours
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post-registration experience and active NMC registration
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests, and professional practices
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development
- A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
