Mental Health Community Practitioner

We are recruiting a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to join our East Assertive Outreach Team in Birmingham and Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults with complex, severe, and enduring mental health needs in the community.
Job Description- This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide recovery-focused interventions, medical reviews, and engagement with service users.
- The successful candidate will have experience of working with adults with complex mental health needs and will be able to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and clinical skills.
- The team operates over 7 days per week, 365 days per year, and the successful candidate will be required to travel across the Birmingham & Solihull area for work purposes.
- Degree or Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Experience of working in adult mental health settings
- Supervision of junior staff and/or being a placement educator
- Multidisciplinary team working and external agencies/health care providers
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £38,890 - £44,195 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including annual leave, sick pay, and access to training and development opportunities.
