Senior Mental Health Community Practitioner

Welcome to Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, a leading provider of mental healthcare services in the UK. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our North HUB CMHTs based at Northcroft.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing a caseload of 30 clients with various mental health and social needs. This will involve actively engaging with individuals who are in crisis or require urgent interventions, as well as completing initial assessments for service users referred to secondary care.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work as an independent practitioner within a defined community setting, liaising with other professionals as necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within agreed parameters, ensuring that you have a working knowledge of local and national policies and legislation governing current service provision and audit.
- You will promote equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation, identifying and contributing to the training needs necessary for providing quality evidence-based care as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities- Acting as an independent practitioner within a defined community setting, while liaising with other professionals as necessary.

- Substantive post qualification experience.
- Professional Registration.
- Experience of working in the community.
- Experience of assessing students.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be in the region of £38,890 - £44,503 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
