About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineering Technologies Support Specialist to join our Airline Engineering team at Jet2. This exciting new role is based within our busy Head Office at Leeds Bradford International Airport and is part of the overall Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and evolution of our Engineering Technologies and Analytics, working closely with the Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Manager and other cross-functional teams.
  • Implement innovative data and analytics solutions to optimize our engineering operations, leveraging data analytics and modeling to deliver insightful, value-driven outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to integrate digital solutions with existing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions, reducing aircraft downtime, improving reliability and safety, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to articulate findings to wider business stakeholders.
  • Support training and support initiatives with teams on new tools, technologies, and processes to ensure successful adoption.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels across the business.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with a keen interest in data and a strong understanding of data analytics technologies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of critical and creative thinking for problem-solving.
  • Dedicated, self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work at pace with a strong focus on delivery and benefit realization.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-discipline, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in data analysis, data modeling, with experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and R.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or Skywise.
  • Knowledge of airline engineering operations and teams.
  • Education to degree level, ideally in an aerospace-related field.
