Aviation Systems Quality Assurance Specialist
As the intricacy and scale of the Flight Operations Technical systems and Electronic Flight Bag (eFB) Apple iPad ecosystem expand, we are seeking an Aviation Systems Quality Assurance Specialist who will be tasked with executing comprehensive functional assessments and data evaluations of the FOT systems and eFB applications along with their associated hardware.
Reporting to the Flight Operations Systems Manager, the Aviation Systems Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for establishing and upholding a thorough testing timetable and corresponding test strategies that emphasize a 'testing to failure' methodology. This role will also necessitate that all completed evaluations are meticulously documented, recorded, and validated, while providing consistent testing updates to all stakeholders and FOT management, collaborating closely with the relevant departmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience in a Software Testing role or a comparable position is preferred.
- Experience within the aviation sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
