Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologies Support Engineer to join our Airline Engineering team at Jet2. This exciting role is based within our busy Head Office at Leeds Bradford International Airport and is part of the overall Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and evolution of our Engineering Technologies and Analytics, working closely with the Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Implement innovative data and analytics solutions to optimise our engineering operations, leveraging data analytics technologies and adaptable skills.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to integrate digital solutions with existing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions, reducing aircraft downtime, improving reliability and safety, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports and visualisations to articulate findings to wider business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen interest in data and engineering technologies.
  • Highly numerate and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in data analysis, data modelling, and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, and R.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or Skywise, and knowledge of Airline Engineering Operations and Teams.
  • Education to degree level, ideally in an Aerospace related field.
