We are on the lookout for a dynamic and forward-thinking Engineering Technologies Engineer to enhance our Airline Engineering division. This pivotal role is situated within our bustling Head Office and is integral to the Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Technologies Engineer, you will spearhead the deployment of cutting-edge data and analytics solutions aimed at optimizing our engineering functions. Your contributions will also extend to the advancement of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring strategies.

You will:
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to broaden use cases and develop proof of concept initiatives.
  • Lead the adoption of digital solutions, utilizing data analytics and modeling to achieve insightful, value-oriented results.
  • Promote a culture of continuous enhancement by analyzing and identifying opportunities for improvement in engineering processes and workflows to boost operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Facilitate the execution of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions that minimize aircraft downtime, bolster reliability and safety, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Work in tandem with IT and Data teams to merge digital solutions with existing systems and platforms for seamless data integration.
  • Ensure all digitization and optimization efforts comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and support to teams on new tools, technologies, and processes to ensure effective implementation.
  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to the broader organization.
Essential Skills and Experience:

You will:

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and self-discipline.

  • Be proficient in data analysis and modeling, with experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and R.
  • Have familiarity with Palantir Foundry or Airbus Skywise.
  • Possess knowledge of Airline Engineering Operations, Maintenance Information Systems, and Part-CAMO and Part-145 Teams.
  • Be experienced with prioritization methodologies.
  • Hold a degree in an Aerospace-related field.
