Engineering Technologies Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Technologies Project Manager to join our Airline Engineering team. This role is based within our Head Office at Leeds Bradford International Airport and is part of the overall Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Technologies Project Manager, you will oversee and deliver projects that drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering and maintenance operations. You will manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects related to Engineering Technologies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Manage project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Lead project meetings and workshops, fostering collaboration and ensuring all team members are aligned and informed.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management.

You will:
  • Possess proven experience in project management, preferably within the engineering or technology sectors.
  • Have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Possess or be working towards a recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Be an excellent communicator, capable of managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Be familiar with aerospace engineering principles and airline operations (preferred but not required).
