About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our Airline Engineering team at Jet2.com. This new role is based within our busy Head Office at Leeds Bradford International Airport and is part of the overall Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and deliver projects that drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering and maintenance operations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Manage project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Lead project meetings and workshops, fostering collaboration and ensuring all team members are aligned and informed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the engineering or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Possess or be working towards a recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with aerospace engineering principles and airline operations (preferred but not required).
