We are in search of a motivated and innovative Aerospace Engineering Technologies Support Specialist to enhance our Airline Engineering division. This pivotal role is situated within our dynamic Head Office and is integral to the Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

Reporting to the Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Manager, the Aerospace Engineering Technologies Support Specialist will collaborate within a diverse Airline Engineering Team, focusing on the advancement and refinement of our Engineering Technologies and Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Aerospace Engineering Technologies Support Specialist, your main duties will include the implementation of cutting-edge data and analytics solutions aimed at optimizing our engineering operations. You will also assist in the development of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring strategies.

You will:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Technologies Engineer and other interdisciplinary teams to expand use cases and conduct proof of concept initiatives.
  • Facilitate the deployment of digital solutions, leveraging data analytics and modeling to achieve insightful, value-driven results.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing and identifying areas for enhancement in our engineering processes and workflows to optimize operations, reduce costs, and boost efficiency and reliability.
  • Assist in the execution of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring solutions that minimize aircraft downtime, enhance reliability and safety, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Work with IT and Data teams to integrate digital solutions with existing systems and platforms for seamless data exchange.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in all digitization and optimization efforts.
  • Support training initiatives for teams on new tools, technologies, and processes to ensure successful adoption.
  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to the broader organization.

  • Have knowledge of data analytics technologies, with a willingness to learn new skills as we embrace new approaches in Aerospace Engineering.
  • Be proficient in data analysis and modeling, with experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and R.
  • Have familiarity with Palantir Foundry or Skywise.
  • Possess knowledge of Airline Engineering Operations and Teams.
  • Hold a degree, ideally in an Aerospace-related field.
