Job Title: M&E Rail Supervisor

John Sisk and Son is seeking an experienced M&E Rail Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of in-house workforce and subcontractors on reactive works within our NW&C Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate trades activities, supervise and manage site subcontractors and works teams, and ensure competency of individuals carrying out duties.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and undertake site assurance inspections.
  • Arrange for the rectification of defects found and update clients and project managers.
  • Manage and organize the issuing and delivery of reactive orders, plan and arrange for all access and safety critical requirements, and ensure all reactive KPIs are met.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in a construction management environment with a similar national/regional contractor, with a strong track record of high HSEQS standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, organized with good time management, and capable of proactive planning.
  • Ability to get the best out of individuals, teams, and trade contractors, and build consensus where differences of opinion arise.
  • Ability to relate company commercial strategy to own activities and projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all trades required on site, codes of practice relating to them, and requirements for them to carry out required works.
