Regional Sales Team Lead

A.G. BARR Group is seeking an experienced Sales Leadership Role to lead the Field Sales Teams in designated regions across Scotland and North East England. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
About the Role:
This position involves creating aligned targets, priorities, and measures to deliver the Field Sales strategy. You will also be responsible for supporting training creation and delivery, recruiting, inducting, and developing a team of Field Sales Managers. Your goal will be to drive retention through team building, career progression, and positive engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Support the creation and delivery of training with the Sales Capability Manager for Field Sales teams and actively support the development of Field Sales Managers and the wider team through coaching and development on the job.
* Recruit, induct, and develop a team of Field Sales Managers through training and coaching. Drive retention through team building, career progression, and positive engagement.
* Analyze performance data to create plans and make informed decisions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in people management or considerable FMCG sales experience, ideally with some coaching experience or demonstrating the ability to coach effectively.
* Strong commercial understanding and analytical skills to analyze performance data and create plans.
* Full driving license is essential for frequent travel to customers and team members.
