About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy Aseptic Service team at Grimsby Hospital.

As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy, CIVAS, and parenteral nutrition products within our Aseptic Preparation Suite.

You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of these services, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy, CIVAS, and parenteral nutrition products
  • Assist with the delivery of the Clinical Trials service
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and cleaning of the Aseptic Preparation Suite

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification or equivalent
  • Sound educational background, GCSE level C or above (or equivalent)
  • Previous pharmacy experience in hospital or community pharmacy
