About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, working closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the receipt and storage of medicines and other pharmacy supplies
  • Support the dispensing team in the preparation and dispensing of medicines
  • Work on the wards, carrying out tasks such as ward stock management and patient medication administration
  • Provide administrative support to the pharmacy team, including data entry and record-keeping

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment
  • Hold an NVQ2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification
  • Sound educational background, with GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) or proven numeracy/literacy skills to an acceptable level
