About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, working closely with our pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in the dispensary and on the wards
  • Receive and store medicines and other pharmacy supplies
  • Fill ward stock orders and maintain accurate records
  • Support the ward-based teams in their patient-facing roles
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy services

Requirements

  • Previous experience in pharmacy or a related field
  • Hold an NVQ2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
  • Sound educational background, including GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) or proven numeracy/literacy skills
