Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Process Instruments. In this role, you will drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and negotiating contracts. You will work closely with the Project Delivery Team to ensure seamless project delivery, provide technical guidance to junior staff members, and contribute to the development of our product range through feedback and suggestions. Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Maximising sales of our water quality analysers across the UK
  • Targeting and securing new customers and business opportunities
  • Building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and negotiating contracts
  • Developing and mentoring junior staff members
  • Providing technical guidance and feedback to the Product Development Team
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in a technical sales environment, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
