Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Special Needs Support Assistant to join our client's primary school in Haringey. The successful candidate will be supporting two children in the reception class with special educational needs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused support to two children in the reception class. The ideal candidate will have a caring and resilient approach, as well as previous experience working with young children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide one-to-one support to two children in the reception class with special educational needs.
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young children with special educational needs.
  • Has a caring and resilient approach.
  • Is able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Is flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:

  • A part-time contract with immediate start.
