Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join our team at a modern mainstream school in Ealing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs, particularly Autism, and be able to provide individualized support to ensure the child's academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one support to the student with Autism, adapting activities to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and psychologists to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
