Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a modern mainstream school in Ealing. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with Autism in Year 2, providing support and assistance to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language Delay
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning and implementation, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, understanding, and a willingness to adapt to the needs of students with diverse abilities
  • Right to work in the UK and experience working in the UK education sector
