Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, develop and implement project communications strategies, and monitor and report on project performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing the central communications calendar, coordinating the production of project-specific communications materials, and monitoring and updating the LinkedIn page.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement project communications strategies to engage stakeholders and promote OXBO's sustainable energy solutions.
  2. Lead and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, presentations, and workshops.
  3. Establish and manage the central communications calendar, ensuring timely delivery of project communications milestones and industry events.
  4. Coordinate and copy edit the production of project-specific communications materials, including consultation event materials, FAQs, media materials, and website updates.
  5. Project manage the production of marketing materials, using the GSC brand guidelines and briefing external suppliers as required.
  6. Monitor and regularly update the LinkedIn page.
  7. Regularly review industry news, national media, and competitor communications activity to understand trends within the sector and strengthen project communications output.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in community engagement, public relations, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, and communications. A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field is required.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous paid time off.
