Job Overview

We are looking for a Young People's Welfare Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a social worker, you will be responsible for managing caseloads of children and young people, undertaking direct social work, and working with families to meet identified needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of children and young people's needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address these.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  3. Produce high-quality written reports, including assessments, progress reports, and case notes, to inform decision-making and support service delivery.
  4. Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly in a social work capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
