Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapy Professional for Young People to join our Berkshire Eating Disorders Service (BEDS) team. This role involves providing assessment and treatment for children and young people with eating disorders, working closely with the multidisciplinary team, and representing occupational therapy at various forums.

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient setting, delivering evidence-based interventions and therapies. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, including mental health interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Represent occupational therapy at multi-disciplinary and professional forums.
Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HPC Registration.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health problems.
  • Knowledge of OT assessment and treatment approaches.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Our Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include flexible working options, 27 days' annual leave, and access to a range of wellbeing tools and services.
