About the Position

We are recruiting a Young People Advocate to join our team in Maidenhead. As a key advocate for our young people, you will provide support and guidance to help them thrive and reach their full potential.

Salary: £24,960 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building supportive relationships with customers to help them develop life skills and independence
  • Conducting regular key work sessions to achieve customer goals
  • Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers
  • Proactively managing risk and safety within the customer's physical living environment

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience using therapeutic models of support
  • Understanding of mental health difficulties and therapeutic methods of support
  • Ability to cope positively with challenging behaviors
