About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment and hold a Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.
  • Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.
