About the Role
We are seeking experienced caring and support workers to join our team at Caredea Healthcare. As a personal care assistant, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with various needs, including elderly, end-of life and learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to empower clients to lead independent lifestyles.
  • Offer companionship and conversation to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Prepare and cook meals, as well as assist with light domestic tasks and general household duties.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social engagements and errands, including shopping.
  • Provide pet care and maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Requirements
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring manual handling.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
