Job Summary: Companion Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Companion Care Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Empower clients to lead independent lifestyles
  • Provide full-time companionship and conversation
  • Prepare meals and cook for clients
  • Assist with light domestic tasks and household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social engagements, and errands such as shopping
  • Pet care
  • Communicate with family, friends, and healthcare professionals on behalf of clients
  • Work towards agreed outcomes for service users which may include social inclusion or teaching life skills

About Us: Cardea Healthcare is a specialist healthcare recruitment agency providing home care services in the community. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care possible to those who need it most. A salary of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum is offered, dependent on experience and qualifications.
