About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend SEN Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to Jake, a young boy with Autism Spectrum Condition. As a 1:1 support worker, you will be responsible for assisting Jake with personal care, self-help skills, activities, outings, meals, therapy programmes, and learning opportunities.

You will also play a crucial role in helping Jake manage expressive behaviours and develop self-regulation strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on Jake's life and work as part of a dedicated and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Jake with personal care and self-help skills
  • Support Jake during activities, outings, and meals
  • Help Jake manage expressive behaviours and develop self-regulation strategies
  • Work collaboratively with Jake's case management team

What You'll Need:

  • A passion for working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach

Salary and Benefits:

£304.00 gross per weekend, paid bi-weekly (£19.00 gross per hour). A car is required for travel to and from the family home, with regular training and supervision provided by Jake's case management team.
