About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Crossroads Veterinary Centre in High Wycombe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance, enhancing team engagement, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of the monthly payroll, manage holiday cover, process overtime, company sick pay, and SSP payments.
  • Operational Management: Manage practice health and safety, oversee diary schedules, and handle facilities and equipment, including arranging repairs and managing group debt protocols.
  • Leadership and Development: Participate in the annual pay review and staff cost budget process, conduct appraisals and performance management for all non-clinical staff, and collaborate with the Operations team to plan and promote practice events.
  • Client Relations: Manage client complaints and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership and operational management in a similar role.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, self-motivation, effective time management, and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant qualifications and certifications in business administration, finance, or a related field.
