About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at Crossroads Veterinary Centre in High Wycombe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance, enhancing team engagement, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of the monthly payroll, manage holiday cover, process overtime, company sick pay, and SSP payments.
  • Operational Management: Manage practice health and safety, oversee diary schedules, and handle facilities and equipment, including arranging repairs and managing group debt protocols.
  • Leadership and Development: Participate in the annual pay review and staff cost budget process, conduct appraisals and performance management for all non-clinical staff, and collaborate with the Operations team to plan and promote practice events.
  • Client Relations: Manage client complaints and provide excellent customer service.
About Us

Crossroads Veterinary Centre is a three-site small animal first opinion practice located in High Wycombe, Hazlemere, and Watlington. Our modern facilities and fantastic team provide a supportive and welcoming environment. As a training practice, we offer ample support to help new staff integrate and gain experience.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking someone with a solid background in leadership, operational management, and achieving financial targets. You should have experience in IT, HR, and H&S, with knowledge of engagement drivers, conflict resolution, and complaint handling. Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management skills are essential, along with excellent communication, self-motivation, effective time management, and strong interpersonal abilities.
