Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at the Witherslack Group. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our young residents.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our young residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational well-being. This will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment, encouraging social and emotional development, and supporting our young people in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to our young residents
  • Assist with meal preparation, household chores, and other domestic duties
  • Support our young people with their education and personal development
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
