We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker for Children's Education to join our team at our specialist school in Oxford.

Support Worker for Children's Education

In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support and guidance to students, promoting academic growth, confidence, and resilience.

You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, building their confidence and making a profound impact on their lives. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a supportive team of staff, shadow experienced professionals, and gain valuable experience in education and psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students
  • Promote academic growth, confidence, and resilience in students
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Possesses a passion for making a difference in the lives of children
  • Holds some experience working with children, preferably those with additional needs or diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, or other challenging conditions
