Austin Fraser seeks a Support Worker for Young People to collaborate with families, children, and the school to provide early intervention, signposting, support, and guidance. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, pastoral experience/safeguarding experience, a background in education/safeguarding/social work, and some experience of safeguarding protocols.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with families, children, and the school to provide early intervention, signposting, support, and guidance.
  • Form strong links to other professionals and outside agencies and establish positive working relationships with families.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children.
  • Pastoral experience/safeguarding experience.
  • A background in education/safeguarding/social work.
  • Some experience of safeguarding protocols.
Key Skills:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust with families and children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 per year.
