Childcare Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a nursery environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting individual children's learning and development, working closely with the setting's SENDCO.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for children under five with SEND, ideally within a nursery environment, and be able to provide high-quality care and education.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working directly with one or more children with SEND, supporting their individual learning and development in line with their care plans.
- Providing support to Key Persons enabling them to focus on specific children on a one-to-one basis.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who naturally cares for others and has a nurturing approach. They must also be a positive role model, effectively meeting individual children's developmental and care needs.
Salary: £14.31-£14.84 per hour if qualified to Level 6 or above, £13.50-£14.84 per hour if qualified to Level 3, 4, or 5, £12.50 per hour if qualified to Level 2, and £12.00 per hour if not early years qualified.
