Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at mod IT Services GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Ensure that all new employees are properly enrolled in our corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Device Configuration and Support: Configure and issue new and replacement laptops to staff, as well as offboard laptops for departing employees.
  • Technical Support: Provide support for our corporate IT infrastructure, including video conferencing, network devices, printers, scanners, and other equipment.
  • Remote Support: Offer desktop support to staff in our office and remotely to staff across the UK.
  • Documentation and Process Development: Create technical documentation outlining standard processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of IT systems and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Be articulate and possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Time Management: Possess effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience: Have experience using ticket management systems for corporate IT requests and configuring iOS, MacOS, Windows, and Android devices.
  • Microsoft Office 365 Administration: Possess experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
Desirable Skills
  • Atlassian JIRA and Confluence: Experience configuring and managing Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
  • JAMF and Microsoft InTune MDM: Experience with JAMF and Microsoft InTune MDM platforms.
  • Microsoft Defender 365: Experience with Microsoft Defender 365.
  • JAMF Protect: Experience with JAMF Protect.
  • IT Asset Management: Experience with IT asset management.
